Happy Weeekeeennddd

Hey everyone!!
Thank you all for welcoming me back :)
I thought no one had noticed I stopped.

On Wednesday I took photos for a friends T-shirt label.
It was fun but a lot harder than I expected.
I have zero photography skills. The only photos I take are the ones you see here.
But I think they were happy with the results.

While M was changing into different Ts, D, his brother and I were mucking around.

Here is D pretending he is some sort of break dancer. Which is 1000% not. Hahaha.
This photo is kind of convincing though. Hahahhaa

Here is Ds brother trying to be cool. Which is 1000% not. Hahaha.
I think he had fun. He is on school holidays now so it was great to have his help.
I think it took his mind of VCE for a day so thats good too.

Here is me trying to do a jump shot. Ughh. HAHAHAHA. I think it's pretty obvious I need to exercise more.
Or practice jumping without pulling crazy faces.

Here is a keyring I got in Tokyo. It's cute. I dont know where I will use it.

The night before the photoshoot we went to Nobu for dinner.
We ate/drank a lot. It was glorious.
I heard yesterday that Robert De Niro is in town. I like to think he was dining with me that night and I just didn't notice.
Here is my new S&B top. It's from the new season but looks almost identical to everything from the last season.
I liked that it had a high neck. D thinks I always have my "rack out" so I'm pretty much going to only wear turtle necks from now. HAaaaaaaa.
He is going to not like that I wrote that. Hahahaaaaa too bad he doesn't have the internet right no so he can suck it.
My nail colour is Chanel Lotus Rouge. It matched my drink!

A few weeks ago I went to ACMI to see the Banksy film Exit through the Gift Shop.
It was fun. I felt bad for Mr Brain Wash. They made fun of him a little too much perhaps. I dunno. I felt bad for him.
Anyway, I liked this huge thing outside so I took a photo. Just found it then!

Along with these photos too!
I got a Nespresso machine about a month ago.
I love it.
It's so easy and no cleaning.
I recommend them. Obviously it doesn't compare to "real" coffee but its nice quick and easy to make while I'm getting ready in the morning.

I love the cute little pods that come with it!

I love photographing roses.
They always look so much nicer in close up photos than real life.

I am watching TV and relaxing tonight. I feel so burnt out from the last 2 months.
I think I need to sleep for 3 days to catch up.

I am heading back to Perth tomorrow so I will try and take some more photos this week!
However I might not be able to blog :(
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Yoyogi and Omotesando

On Sunday the weather was nice ( for the first time in my trip) so we head down to Yoyogi Park.
D hadn't been to Yoyogi on a Sunday.
We like the rockabilly crew.
They have great facial expressions. They put in a lot of effort.
One crew had a pink cadillac and some douche keyed it. I bet it was the rival gang.
I think the denim gang don't like the black leather jacket gang.
They do dance offs and turn their radios up louder to project more rockabilliness.

Go denim gang go !

Oooh black leather gang you are so bad.

White jacket? Maybe he is the leader.

Chicks get in on it too.

Here are some little low quality vids I took on my point n shoot.
It makes me smile.
I love the Japanese rock and roll music.
Here is denim gang

And here is leather gang.

I didn't take any photos of "harajuku girls" because it's kind of awkward. I don't take photos of people without their permission and I didn't want to ask them. I get the feeling maybe they don't like it? Because a million tourists would take their photos? I dunno.

Here is some graffiti in the park..

Here is me taking a photo of D taking a photo of me.
Did your head explode just them?

Lovely trees.
Spring is lovely.

More trees. Don't fall asleep just yet. THERE IS MORE TREES TO COME!!

Here is me looking to my right whilst scratching my head. I am back in Sass&Bide so you can all breathe a sigh of relief.
The sass and bide singlet/dress underneath has a weird american wrestler shape.
The black long sleeve top over it looks really see through in the photos but its really not so much in real life...
The guy in the background was juggling. Pity I missed that.

Here is a photo to set the scene.
They like to sit around the pond.

And look at this fountain that shoots water up and down.
I think that ball games are very popular like some sort of tennis ping pong type hitting game.
Also lots of people play their instruments and walk their dogs.
I saw about 500 cute chihuahuas but felt weird taking photos of other peoples dogs.

Me again.

Even though official cherry blossom season is over, there are still quite a few trees around the city that still have some bloom.
So pretty !

After that we walked down to Omotesando. I like the area.

D took this photo of some tulips blooming on the side of the walkway.

We got an espresso from this little van in an lane off Omotesando.
It was real espresso and it made me very happy.
I really miss real coffee when we leave Australia.
I felt even the coffee in Paris was rubbish compared to coffee back home..

I like his pot plants and bottles with random flowers in it.
Hope this post didn't chew up your bandwidth!

I am off to run some errands.
Have a lovely night !!!!!!
:) :) :)

Shopping dayyyyyy

D took these photos of me after we got our morning coffee.
I hadn't had a sip yet. Cranky.
Ha!
I used to hate it when people told me they "need" their morning coffee.
I have kind of become one of them.
I'd rather run late than miss my coffee.
Anyway
I am wearing a top which has some ladys name on the label but im so sure i got it from Topshop. I have a bad memory. So its really 50/50 on its origins. I got it ages ago.
The vesty thing is from a brand called Kachel.
We all know the rest of my outfit because they are common characters on my blog now.

Close up because apparently people like seeing details.

Here is the back of the vest. How cool is it? ITS LIKE THE POPES HAT
I'm sure of it. Or something pope like. I dunno.
Aren't elbows weird? I really hate them. Just like i hate that weird bit of skin between your armpits.

Anyway, you know how I mentioned in my last post about some food festival thing in melbourne right now?
they have these tents set up near Chanel on that gravel bit and one of the tents has a wood fire oven.
YES U HEARD RIGHT! It was like the best pizza of my life.
I went back and got another the next day.
This one below was roasted fig, gorgonzola and walnuts.

Hells yes. Look at this up close so you can drool. Yum
Lucky for you ( AND ME!) i took their brochure and they have a restaurant.
YES WE CAN ALL ENJOY IT. The place is called Red Olive and its in Fitzroy and here is its website LINK.
I want to go and eat all the good italian goodness asap.
ASAP

After we ate the pizza I picked up some nice yellow roses for home.
They opened up huge!!!! huuuuuuuuuuugeeeeeeee!!!
Possible the biggest ive ever seen a rose open up.
Should of taken a pic. ahhhhhh.

I only got one thing that day. I forgot to mention but after Nobu we went to crown and i won some moolah. yessssss.
Anyways. I always feel guilty when i win money so i got D's little brother a present.
I got him this LV wallet that he has been harpin on about for years now ( in teenager time. in real time its months) I haven't given it to him yet. I just took the below photo.
Um. Its like impossible to take a photo of this wallet at night. The flash from the camera or even the light bulb in the ceiling reflects like crazy off the canvas.
Hell annoying.
Ughhh
Anyway its the Damier Graphite colour.
I like it. He will like it. I hope he gets excited.

Anyway, so I want to give away some of the money i won ( its not much but still ) to a charity so the universe is even. I feel something bad might happen if i dont give some of my winnings to charity. Its just my theory with winning money ok? hahaha
I cant decide who to give it to
Theres like a bajillion charities i like.
Its balls.
I dont know whether to just go Red Cross or to go more local like Father Bobs charity.
It's too difficult.
I think im heading towards local because its a smaller amount.
Sometimes i feel local smaller charities often get forgotten.

It's now officially Thursday. Which means its practically the weekend
YAY!
So excited.
Excited x 100000000000
I'm helping a friend move into her new place and I'm v excited for her. Hope it all works out.
I feel like EVERYONE bar me is underestimating the hugeness that is moving house.
Like they all forgot what HELL it was when they did it.
Ugh.
We have a nice little crew helping but it's still a mammoth job.

I'll stop rambling now
Goodnight/Goodmorning if you are reading this at a more civilized hour.
:)

dancey time

On Saturday night I went for a bit of a dance with my girlfriends. It was the worst weather!! Just pouring down allll dayyyy. Almost like winter...
Anyways, the place we went to doesn't have a cloak room ( annoying) so I cant really wear a jacket...
I remembered I bought this jacket at the "Salvos" about 6 months ago and decided to give it a try. It's my first time wearing something second-hand or vintage. I like everyone else in vintage but it scares me thinking about the previous owner..... I should google the tag on this jacket because it was definitely from the 80s. Think black tag with gold writing. ha.
Oh and it had real shoulder pads!! So funny. I was going to rip them out but I thought they added funniness so I kept them in....

We popped a bottle of champagne before we left and I took a photo a la Porcelain Blonde. Sans ice bucket. Love her blog!
Yay my crazy zebras made it in the picture, and so did some random xmas decorations I'm sorting out.
Anyways, girls nights are always such a blast and I had an awesome time. It MAY of been because I finished the night with Lord of the Fries in Canadian gravy!! WOOOOOO!!!
Ohhhhhh and I'll just forget about the 1.5 hour cab line.... ahhhh.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!!

Oh! And I was on Channel 10 tonight in the audience of the Dave Hughes special.
Woot!! I wanted to vomit at the start because it was all up in my face but now I'm over it.

Edit - Okay looking at this picture I can almost see my britney. I pulled my skirt down before leaving the house I promise.

Skull money box

When i went to chadstone the other day for the opening of the new boutiques, i went with the intention of buying the new melbourne chanel exclusive flap or a red flap but seeing them in real life, made me think meh. so i opted out.
i walked past smiggle and saw this money box skull and was way more excited.
ha
so i snapped it up straight away!
my skull collection is getting large! ill have to take a photo of them all one day!

and now it sits here with some peonies i picked up today... in a country road vase..
i like country road vases because they are nice and heavy...

the photos are a bit lousey.....couldn't get any natural light in the room..the sky is so gloomy now the cold change has come through....it was 38.4 degrees this morning! and now itslike 20 degrees!! crazy!!

oh and interesting fact for the day.
i came home at about 3.30 today to find the house reeking of gas. like REEKING. from the front door i was like wtf. i thought at first i was being silly, and then i went to see if i had forgotten to take the trash out... and then i saw the stove and realised i had left the gas on from 7pm the night before!! WTF insane!!!
after i cooked dinner i went for a walk for an hour and then to bed and i closed my bedroom door. when i got ready this morning i went straight from my bedroom outside so i never went near the kitchen to smell the gas. holey moley!! that was nearly 24 of gas on. its so bad.
ive had the doors open for over an hour now to try and air it out.
what if i lit a candle or some shiz? ( which i do ALL THE TIME)
im such an idiot.
ahhahahahha
woopsy
atleast i will be more careful from now on.
i have no idea how i did it. i feel stupid.

My new favourite house item

Lately I've been really lazy with blogging. ... as well as super busy.
I took this photo a couple of weeks ago after I bought this super cool skull on ebay.
I love it. I think its too cute. He looks like he is laughing.
Right now he has a twilly wrapped around his head and Im calling him Skulpac Shakur.
I guess you have to see it...

Paired with some roses in a Country Road vase i got a few weeks ago as well. Im LOVING this fishbowl style vase right now....

dancing outfit

Finally another outfit post. i hope to do these more often, but i dont get how to take a photo with the timer. it always cuts off my feet or my head. so i need couchshopper to take them for me and i always forget. or im running late.
anyways, on saturday night, couch shopper, myself and a couple of friends went out for dancing!
first we went to St Jeromes and then the Peel. it was hillarious.
i never thought id dance to the veronicas. but whilst drunk it seemed fun.
i have a fading memory of a certain friend on the podium dancing to britney spears! hahaha
u know who you are !
i was going to post some photos of the night but i wasnt sure how people feel about their photos being on the blog....??? hmm
anyways outfit pic. its pretty dark. im guessing the lighting in my living room is shite.

Jacket - sportsgirl
black singlet - kookai
floral skirt - topshop UK
boots - nine west
necklace - disney couture
handbag - chanel
nails - OPI lincoln park after dark.

and here is a close up of the skirt which is a bit blurry and ughh.
it kinda reminds me of andy warhol. dunno why.
i wish i got a size smaller. i feel the puffyness and pleating is lost because its really quite too big. i had to get a bandage singlet and wrap it around the waist so there something to hold it up.

oh and u can see my flowers of the week in the background! yay. i forgot to snap them up!
i did some more last night so i will have to take a picture of them later

------------
ok EDIT
woh.
this photo is really big. too big!!
gahhhhhhhhhh
