HELLO!

I finally got around to kind of doing a post.
It's a bit crap.
I'm sorry.
I just took some photos of some things that I haven't blogged about recently.

Here is my uniform as of the past two weeks.
I'm so over the cold.
I can't handle it anymore.
Wahhhhh.

I got this jacket/cape from Topshop.

POSER!!!!!
hahahahhaaaaaa
I wanted to make sure the hood stayed up because I love the hood.
Here is a Sass & Bide hoodie that I got about 2-3 months ago ( I think?! )
I've worn it a lot during winter with a snow thermal underneath.
It's so comfortable.

I got this Sass & Bide dress a few weeks ago.
It's so effing short. I don't know how they call this a dress.
I've been wearing it with a skirt or short underneath. It becomes annoying with the elastic band so I think I have to wait until summer and wear it will leggings underneath.

Here are some photos of lovely cakes. I took them back in August when I was in Perth.
Man I miss cakes and treats.
I have been trying to lose 3kgs over the past 5 weeks and it has been hell.

We were at Jean Pierre Sancho in Perth.
I think my friend from Perth reads this blog sometimes. Hello F !!!
She had this weird chocolate lump thing.
Such a weird shape.
Our cakes were so delicious!

Perth people must try Jean Pierre Sancho cakes and macarons!
They also make nice coffee!

Did everyone watch GLEE?!!!!!!!
How funny was Finn's cheerios audition.
HAHAHAH.
That's EXACTLY how I'd look if I was trying to do a cheerleader impersonation.
HAhahahaa..

I will try and take some photos on the weekend and update my blog early next week!
I hope you are all well and not getting this crappy flu/cold we all have.
It's ANNOYING!
ughhhhh
I'm so over being sick.
I feel for all you guys that get hayfeaver.
I don't but D does and I think the season is just around the corner :(
Atleast on a brighter note, it means summer is coming!!!

I have to go now and eat dinner.
Bye bye!! :)

I never know what to title my posts.

Hello ~!!!!!!!

Happy Mondayyyyyy!! If you were in Melbourne, did you like the weather today? It was almost spring like. The sun came out and I hardly recognised it.

Here is some photos of our dinner to celebrate finishing the detox. HAHAHA.
Does my skin look glowing like they promised?
It's probably just the three layers of concealer + foundation.
I look damn huge in this photo. My head is about double the size of Ds. But who cares because my hair looks big. BIG. I spend a good amount of time trying to get big hair. YAY
Here we are having those amazing Raspberry & Hazelnut Martinis.
Yum. Nothing enhances your post detox glow like vodka.
Hahaha.

Here is one of my fav dishes again. The cold tofu with soy and sesame and chives.
It's so nice.
On the left, friend K is having the Yellowtail Sashimi.

Here is my second favourite Nobu dish. Anti-Cucho tofu skewers.
So nice and spicy!

We asked the waitress to choose four different cocktails for the table and one of them was this chilli thing.
It was SO DAMN HOT. omggeee.
Not normal. I think I can handle chilli pretty well but this was off the chain.
Hotter than nandos extra hot peri peri sauce.
Wahhh!!
I have a feeling my friend A and her chili loving Malaysian background family will love this drink though.
You can see K in the background with her cool skull necklace.

After dinner we went and saw Inception.
HAVE YOU GUYS SEEN IT? I'm thinking YES because it seems the whole world has.
What did you think?
My feelings are capture in this photo below.

SNORE.
I thought it reeked. It was so predictable and bleugh.
When was it supposed to blow my mind?
OOooohhhhh loooookkk the spinny thing kept spinning. ughhh. OK.
Let me just say, Ashton Kutcher's Butterfly Effect had a bigger effect on me.
Actually, THE TRUMAN SHOW WITH JIM CARREY HAD A BIGGER EFFECT.
For a good few months, I was PARANOID that I was on the Truman Show. Then I realised how bored everyone would be watching my life and snapped out of that delusion.
Plus was I supposed to take Juno seriously as a genius student?
It's JUNO!

After the movie, I found this little creature.
I wonder who put him down stairs? HA HA HA HA *looking at someone*
heheheheeeee
How boozey do I look?
Pretty sure I was sober.
But you can kind of see my outfit here!
YAY
Can you see my newish Sass&Bide skirt. Its got some nice detailing down the front.
I pretty much can't breathe in it.

D and I went to Ikea the other day to get a rug and I found D riding this carpet as if he was Aladdin. Thank the lords above I had my camera in bag.
I wonder if he does these things when I'm not with him and he is alone?
I'm thinking YES.

I found this photo of my luggage tags on my SD card.
Isn't it the BEST ?!
NO one will steal my luggage with this on it. Especially a dude.
Once someone took my suitcase of the belt and walked off with it and I chased him and argued it was mine. Eventually he gave it up. But made me paranoid about having plain black suitcases. Anyone can accidently take it !

Because my blog hasn't had any outfit posts lately, I just took this quick pic of what I'm wearing now.
Pretty plain!

Topshop cardigan
S&B tee
Topshop Skirt
LV scarf
I think my ring was from Gen Pants but could of been Sportsgirl? eek!
OPI Lincoln Park After Dark on the nails.

Yiiiieee!!!
I best be go.
I am running late.
This ended up taking ages.
NEW True Blood and Entourage tonight.
YAY!

Urban Remedy Cleanse Results + Sass&Bide tee + jewellery

Woo!
BUSY week.
I have finished the Urban Remedy cleanse!! Let me say. I DID NOT CHEAT ONCE!
WOO!!
I didn't even have the "okay foods" (celery, cucumber, lettuce)
Nudda. I am v proud.
I can honestly say I didn't get hungry ONCE. I just missed the smell/taste/process of eating. I realised how much I thought about food though. I plan a lot of my day around food. Interesting.

I have to say on Day 2 and Day 3, I REALLY struggled with Juice 3. It's really quite horrid. I only had 2/3 of the bottle on Day 2 and D forced me finish it on Day 3. It's just hard to drink.
Juice 6 really tastes like something that should be slapped on my face at a day spa.

I forgot to take photos of the juices. Dang. Every lunch time I'd remember but then get home and forget!
But here is a photo of the little cooler bag they give you to carry your juices around in !

Okay.
SO
I weighed myself on the morning of Day 1 and the morning after Day 3.
I know you all want to know the numbers.
I lost 3.4kg
I don't know if thats a good thing or bad thing.
Did it mean I was carry a lot of fluids in myself that got flushed out with all the drinking?
Cuz it surely isn't any fat loss.
I did work out during the cleanse though. So perhaps I lost 1kg of real fat? Only time will tell.
I wonder if I would of lost the same if I didn't work out? Probs not.
I also did dry brushing and had 1x 1hr body massage and 1 x 1hr reflexology and shoulder massage.
My skin looks brighter according to D but I dunno.
I think my stomach is a bit flatter.
It's odd that I didn't experience any symptoms as well. I dunno whether that meant I was healthy or my body wasn't flushing toxins. I have no idea.
Oh well. I feel proud for finishing it !!

Here is a couple of photos of some recent buys!
Here is the new cut tee from the "Tomorrow the Great" collection from Sass&Bide.
I like this cut. I told myself I wouldn't buy anymore S&B tees but it didn't seem to last long.
I'm not so sure about this colour of tee. I think it looks a bit "I washed my white tee with my black tee" but D liked it, so I thought I'd give colour a chance!
I like the hemming at the bottom.

Lately I've been really liking S&B jewellery collection.
Here is a a necklace I got..

And a close up of them all...
I couldn't get a good shot of the talon ring because it doesn't stand up on it's on.
My camera didn't want to play focus today either.

I thought I'd share my skin care stuff too.
A few months ago I started using Perricone MD Cold Plasma range and I really love it!
To be honest the smell is OFF but I'm hoping no one comes that close to notice.
*mask with perfume* haha.
This is the ONLY product I've ever used that I've noticed results within 3 days.
My skin just feels smoother and the tone of my skin seems more even. I think I looked fresher. Whatever that is. My skin looks less manky and dry.
You use the cold plasma under your normal daily moisturiser. I use Clinique DDML and it works really well together.

Look at these weird roses I got for home.
Weird huh? I wonder if they grew like this or if they put some sort of dye through a white rose? I have no idea about this sort of thing.
Do pink and white roses growing next to each other kind of "breed" ? HAHA
I dunno. Rose Sex. Hahahaaaaaaaaaaaa.

And a last but not least, my IPAD!!!
YAY. I'm pretty sure I forgot to blog about this.
I was in Perth on the day they came out and I wasn't planning on getting one. The lines were CRAY CRAY in Melbs and Sydney.
At about 3.30pm I was on Hay St and thought I'd go take a look in DJs at the display ones.
Well. I am a sucker because 5 mins later I was swiping my CC and saying "gimme gimme"
No Lines...Nothing!! Thank you PERTH!

Anyway, I am obsessed with playing Words With Friends on my iPad.
My user name is Ninibeee.
Add me and we can play faux scrabble!!!
Tell me who you are from here though so I know your not some random dude who sending me weird pervy msgs. *block*

Okay I must be off!
I really CBF proof reading this post so if it is full of bad grammar and spelling mistakes, please forgive me!!

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
:)

Happy Weeekeeennddd

Hey everyone!!
Thank you all for welcoming me back :)
I thought no one had noticed I stopped.

On Wednesday I took photos for a friends T-shirt label.
It was fun but a lot harder than I expected.
I have zero photography skills. The only photos I take are the ones you see here.
But I think they were happy with the results.

While M was changing into different Ts, D, his brother and I were mucking around.

Here is D pretending he is some sort of break dancer. Which is 1000% not. Hahaha.
This photo is kind of convincing though. Hahahhaa

Here is Ds brother trying to be cool. Which is 1000% not. Hahaha.
I think he had fun. He is on school holidays now so it was great to have his help.
I think it took his mind of VCE for a day so thats good too.

Here is me trying to do a jump shot. Ughh. HAHAHAHA. I think it's pretty obvious I need to exercise more.
Or practice jumping without pulling crazy faces.

Here is a keyring I got in Tokyo. It's cute. I dont know where I will use it.

The night before the photoshoot we went to Nobu for dinner.
We ate/drank a lot. It was glorious.
I heard yesterday that Robert De Niro is in town. I like to think he was dining with me that night and I just didn't notice.
Here is my new S&B top. It's from the new season but looks almost identical to everything from the last season.
I liked that it had a high neck. D thinks I always have my "rack out" so I'm pretty much going to only wear turtle necks from now. HAaaaaaaa.
He is going to not like that I wrote that. Hahahaaaaa too bad he doesn't have the internet right no so he can suck it.
My nail colour is Chanel Lotus Rouge. It matched my drink!

A few weeks ago I went to ACMI to see the Banksy film Exit through the Gift Shop.
It was fun. I felt bad for Mr Brain Wash. They made fun of him a little too much perhaps. I dunno. I felt bad for him.
Anyway, I liked this huge thing outside so I took a photo. Just found it then!

Along with these photos too!
I got a Nespresso machine about a month ago.
I love it.
It's so easy and no cleaning.
I recommend them. Obviously it doesn't compare to "real" coffee but its nice quick and easy to make while I'm getting ready in the morning.

I love the cute little pods that come with it!

I love photographing roses.
They always look so much nicer in close up photos than real life.

I am watching TV and relaxing tonight. I feel so burnt out from the last 2 months.
I think I need to sleep for 3 days to catch up.

I am heading back to Perth tomorrow so I will try and take some more photos this week!
However I might not be able to blog :(
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Rockpool

Heyyyyyyyyyyyy,
Please tilt your heads to the side because I don't like weird gaps on my blog when a vertical photo is posted.
ok GO!

Thank you. I hope you didn't strain a neck muscle. Here is a photo of when D and I went to the city to pick up something i ordered from Chanel. In the photo I'm pulling this weird kind of "hurry the eff up D cuz people are looking at me weirdly" face. He said I'm crap at taking photos and then tried to pretend to be me while I took a photo of him.
Clearly I don't hunch my shoulders over like a baffoon.

D is wearing this snazzy Marc Jacobs shirt he found at Aloha Rag in Hawaii. I love that shop. One of my favourites in the world. It matches a dress I have from Country Road. We should wear them together some day.

Anyway, none of my usual SAs were at Chanel so I gave up and left. We then met up with some friends in the city and wanted to go to Movida but it was closed. Balls. So we went to Mamasita. Which was also closed. Balls again. So we went to Rockpool.
I wasn't prepared.
I found this top worn below scrunched up on the back seat of my car and wore it.
It had some wrinkles in it but you cant tell in this poorly lit photo.
Ha! It is from S&B. Supriseeeeeed?!! So is the one above in the city. Please don't judge!

In this photo I drink a Grey Goose Martini. Don't order a Manhattan from Rockpool. They are awful. Stick to things on their menu.
I ate this vegetable cous cous thing which has a fruit on it. It could be a quince. If you look at the bed of cous cous you can see it. Does anyone know? I think it looks like a turd. hahahahaha

Here is what everyone else ate.
D had spaghetti and omg it was amazing! yum!
K and some sort of prawn and cheese tortolini thing and K v2.0 had a steak. Ew. I didn't want it on my blog but I know some of you guys out there like the meaty goods so its for you.
For side dishes we got onion rings, cheesy cauliflower gratin and not pictured, roasted sweet potatoes. Yum!

Now to the good stuff. Desserts.
Here is what K v2.0 got. A trifle. It was very delicious but very full on. The crystal bowl it was served it adds to flavour I believe.

I had this chocolate thing which resembles a boob with a nipple. Hahaha.
I am feeling v mature today.
It had this kind of crunchy thing as a base which was nice.

D ( and by D, I mean, I made him order it so I could eat two desserts without looking foul) ordered this strawberry number. It was a strawberry macaroon, filled with strawberry icecream with a strawberry salad. Full on.
D mentioned the icecream also looked like a turd. Haahahhahahahaaaa.

There was also a creme brule but they all look the same so no photo of that.

Writing this post I now realise how often we compare our food to gross things or private parts. This is interesting to know about ourselves. Hmmm. Time to reflect.

Does anyone have any tips for me to take photos in a dim light restaurant with no flash?
It's v hard. I hate flash in restaurants. Hmm.

Anyway, Rockpool was fun and I like it there. Neil Perry was even there that night too!
Weird huh? Because last time we went to Nobu, Nobu was there. But that is more weird because he doesn't live in Australia.
Anyway,
I am going to go and do some exercise now to work off my boob and poo desserts.

Toodle-oo !!
:)

The Burrup

It's nice to drive down to the Burrup Peninsula to look at the water, rocks, and kangaroos.
Kangaroos be crazy. They always jump in front of the car. crazy.
I love to take photos of kangaroos but D always gets impatient.
I took some nice photos of kangaroos and posted about them a while ago in THIS post.

We like to look around in the rocks to find crabs and other weird things.
I like how there is no sand here.
It's just all small shells....millionsssss of them!

I stood on this rock while D took a photo.
I wore my usual CR jeans. I promise i do take them off.
And Sass&Bide tshirt. Easy outfit.
I like the white things flapping off the tshirt. I dunno what you would call them.

At dusk the sun shines on the rocks and they have this crazy red glow.
It's much more vibrant in real life......beautiful!
Australia is such a beautiful place.

Took a photo of a kangaroo. YAY

And then the sunset!
I love taking photos of skies and clouds. How boring am I?! hahah

How was everyones weekends?
Mine was great. D and I went to a Woodstock party. I will post some photos when I get around to it. We also ate lots and lots of nice food and had way too many drinks with friends.
Thats what weekends are for right?

I saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D today. It was alright. I thought it would be better though. I found it kind of slow. The script was lacking and at some parts kind of boring.
I thought i'd love this movie so much. Hmmm...
Visually it was beautiful though....
I love Anne Hathaway but I found her to be terrible in this film. Is it just me?
I feel bad for saying that but i dunno. What did you guys think?

Pilbara chillin

The best time for exploring in the Pilbara is between 6pm and 7pm when the sun is going down.
It's gnarly sunny and you squint your eyes like blind woman but the sunset is pretty so it's worth it.
The nice breeze from the ocean is a life saver.
White t-shirts help but I usually wear all black so my clothes dont get covered in red dust.

This is my favourite Sass&Bide tshirt. I love the green in it. It goes nicely with gold and silver. Which I think is rare in colours.
It also reminds me of reptiles. Then I sing reptile by NIN in my head for a while.
Why hello there squinty,
You can see the detail in the tshirt atleast.
Can you see how my nails match my sunnies? That was not on purpose. I'm glad it happened though. I will call it my "pop" of colour. hahaha.

Sunnies - Ray Bans ( gift from a dear friend)
Tshirt - Sass&Bide
Jeans - Country Road
Cuff - Hermes
Bracelets - Tiffany balls bracelet & Hermes Click H in framboise
Nails - OPI Red My Fortune Cookie

Okay now I will tell you the story of Sam's Island. In the photo above, you can see his island.
Apparantly a man named Sam lived there like a hermit.
The council kicked him off the island. Everyone rallied in the community to let Sam stay there and live on his island in his shanty shack.
They council let him back on the island
He died happy on his island
It is now named Sams Island.
I hope this story is true and not an urban legend!! Hahah Like old " red dog" . I dunno if i believe in that story. Maybe PilbaraFace can enlighten us if the Sam's Island story is true.

Now below is my favourite tree in the Pilbara.
It is asking to be sat on.
I tried to sit on it and fell off.
HAHAH
You can see the action below.

But then success !!!
Huzzah!
I climbed to the top.
This is major for me.
I hate heights. I know this doesn't look high but I still got dizzy when I got to the top and stood up.

I am going to see The Blind Side tonight.
I am excited to see Sandra Bullock with Texas hair. Woo.
I saw Precious the other day. Did I already mention this on my blog?
I liked it a lot. Mimoo was great in it. I didn't like the ending though.
I want to see Hurt Locker and Alice in Wonderland.
So many movies to see!!

I hope you guys all have the best weekend! Make it a productive one.
I will try.
I want to unpack finally and get up to date with cleaning.
I have a date with the disinfectant, toothbrush and shower.
WOO.
I will manage to try new cocktails this weekend too.
YAY
sldkflsdkjflskdfj
I am going to go listen to Celebration by Kool & The Gang to get excited for the weekend.
You should too! How can you not be happy whilst listening to this song?
Celllllebrrattioonnn! I might even dance in the living room.

I hope you all liked my Pilbara photos. I love it there and I'm glad I can share a few bits of it with you guys :)

Have a great weekend :) :)

Cossack

D and I like to take photos of us jumping and compare who got the most air. I think we have photos from all our holidays of us doing this. Cheap thrills.

We took a drive down to Cossack on Sunday. It's now a ghost town but was established in 1871 to house all the pearl divers that came down hoping to strike it rich.
Up above I am jumping in front of a shop that was built in 1890. Most of the town has been destroyed by age and cyclones but there are still a few buildings around. But I wont post photos of them all. Snoozey. Plus it's more of a suprise if you ever go there yourself.

Down below is the view from a lookout point in Cossack.
I'm pretty sure this was low tide. It was about 5pm

Here is what I wore... I look like a "blogger" here don't I? HA! D took a photo of me getting shitty at the flies and storming back into the car.
hahahha
But it totally looks like I'm trying to "werk" it.

I made him take a close up photo of my vest. I like all the beading. It's really heavy though.
The vest is by a brand called Kachel. I thought I was really stepping out of the box here with this vest. But then two people have already asked me if it's Sass&Bide. So clearly I'm not. I thought I was doing great but not buying something S&B for once. GAH!
Although, I just realised the t-shirt and shorts are. shit.

I spotted two cute gallahs on a power line and made D get out in the blistering heat and take a photo for me. He is a LADIEZZZZ man. swoon.

I've given up on sandals in the 42 degree heat. My feet get too dirty. Sandy. Grimey. Annoying.
Next time I come up I'm bringing more closed toe shoes.
Orange iron ore feet isn't pretty.
I'm getting a nice iron ore tan though.
Pity it comes off in the shower each night.

----------------------------------------------------------

I really enjoy when I hear middle aged women with top 40 ringtones. I'm next to a lady who has Katy Perry as her ringtone. She has children. She'd be in her late 30s. But rock on with the Kate Perry ringtone. It's especially funny when they can't find they phone in their handbags that carry the kitchen sink and it goes on for ages and they get flustered.
This is so my mum. If she could figure out ringtones. Or how to answer a mobile phone.
As for me, I always have my phone on silent. I like missing all my calls.
