Taking photos while sitting in the car.

In the last few days I have taken some photos while waiting in traffic.

I had my dental appointment the other day so I thought I would get some macarons on the way home.

I saw these on Je m'appelle Sophia's blog ( link in my blog roll -->) and they looked so cute!!

She has a link on her blog for the website and all the details.

It made me feel like I was back in Paris for a minute..

Macarons always look better than they taste.

Then D and I continued on with the renos and went to last minute places to choose tiles, paint colours etc.

I needed SUGAR to get through it so I got a CHERRY COKE and PRETZEL flavoured m&m's.

They were kinda salty crunchy.

I liked them.

Then chose shades of brown.

THRILLING

I got my nails did today.

Thought I would try a colour.

Wanted a pink but they were all at my mums.

Found this purple one from Kit.

Still scared of my nails.

Booo. I better lose a few kgs from all this vomiting.

I've been sick non stop since xmas and it reeks.

I've become a sook and need my mum here all the time to watch Atlanta Housewives with me and drive me to appointments and make sure I dont code blue. HA.

Too sick to walk Taco so I took her to the dog park today so she could get some fresh air and have a wander.

When I'm sick I must wear biggest sloppiest clothes and biggest sunnies to cover feral face.

Lucky I bought this jumper from Sportsgirl in Perth last week.

It's been my best friend.

I've worn it 3 days in a row. GROSS.

It's pretty much winter here in Melbourne.

Soundwave Perth

Hello!

Long time , no see.

I am back in Melbourne now. YAY.

The journey back was mammoth. Plane issues. Switching Planes.

Luggage not coming till the next day. Wahh!

Anyway. It's all over now.

I went to Perth over the weekend for Soundwave. Originally was planning to go to Melbourne but D couldn't get back here because of work so we went to Perth.

It was so much fun.

Glad I went to Perth instead. There were no lines and you could get close to the stages easily.

Apart from Slayer.

That was redic. I think they under estimated how popular Slayer are, or perhaps the band requested not to be on a main stage? I have no idea.

I had no idea what to wear. I hate dressing for hot weather. I prefer winter where I can cover all my skin.

I was in the 1% group that wasn't dressed in all black. Weird for me because I'm usually in all black. But it was so hot.

I got there around 4 and watched Slash, half of Slayer, ate drank and socialised with our awesome Perth friends!!

Then finally the sun went down and Iron Maiden came out!

Such an amazing set.

I wanted to hear Run to the Hills. It never happened.

Oh well.

It was still awesome!!

Wish I could go again.

I dunno if I will ever have a chance to see them again.

So glad I made the trip to Perth.

I hate wisdom teeth!!

Hello!

I'm still alive! Only just!!

This past month has been effing horrid.

I had a tooth ache like crazy but I thought it'd go away.

Went to dentist. She said it was my wisdom coming through but I had to go for an x-ray.

Over the next few days it went to the worst pain of my lifeeeee!!

Got the x-rays.

Had to get all 4 out. WAH.

My face became so swollen they had to give me tablets to get the swelling down before my mouth could open.

SOOOOOOOO I had to go into hospital and get all 4 out under general.

Now I've been out of hospital for 8 days and the pain is EVEN WORSE.

Saw the surgeon today and turns out I got a "dry socket" and he shoved some shredded cloves in the hole that went down to my jaw bone. EW.

My mouth tastes off.

HURRY UP AND BE OVER.

I've been so sick from all the pain killers.

Im allergic to panadine forte and nurofen forte so I basically just sit here dying.

It's THE WORST PAIN EVER.

So now I sit here $3000 later and I'm still in pain.

I'd rather of got D to rip them out with a bloody set of pliers, shove some vodka on them, use the money to buy a new Chanel bag and call it a day.

$3000?!!?!

WAHHH!!!

I always thought in this country if you need surgery that isn't elective it was free.

I dunno.

Oh well.

Anyway, I thought I would blog some photos now that I'm feeling less druggy.

Back in December, D and I went to a 60th at the Cuckoo in Mt Dandenong. Maybe Olinda? Not too sure.

Anyway. It best the BOMB.

It was so funny. We drank beer from "steins" ??! (huge mugs) and ate lots of potatoes.

I had potato patties, roast potatoes, chips, potato salad.

It was funny.

Then they had this dessert buffet. I thought it was funny to have jam and cream scones at night.

I liked the black poppy seed one the best.

They do a little music and weird kind of interaction with the audience and yodeling.

It was pretty funny.

I think if you go with a good group and drink lots of beer its heaps of fun!

D is always so busy with work these days and I have no one to take my photos :S

I tried to take a photo in the lift but it's a bit dodgy.

Melbourne Aquarium

Last week I went to the Melbourne Aquarium with a friend.

She wanted to see the baby hammer head sharks...or swim with them..or something. I dunno.

I agreed to go because I thought I would try new things this year.

The first exhibit when you enter is the penguin jail. I mean, penguin enclosure.

Maaaaannnnn. I felt so bad for the penguins.

What kind of life is this?

There is nothing for them to do.

It got me thinking " I wonder if penguins do much in the wild?" Do they just stand around.

I'm sure they don't tap dance like Happy Feet would like us to believe.

What is this penguin doing? Sleeping?

Haha. Clearly I didn't learn much about penguins.

I like the penguins with the yella best.

I liked to take photos of the ugly fish the best.

No one else did.

I felt bad for the ugly fish.

I could relate to them. HAHAHAH

This one was probs the ugliest.

I liked him best.

I want to get lots of derma fillers in my lips so I can look like him.
