Rocky Mountain

I went up the top of the mountain the other day and my bf took a photo of me taking a photo.

it made my mum so confused when she saw the photo. she kept saying " how did you do that"

he was playing around with our ol digi cam while i was trying to look like a real photographer.

TRYING. hehehe

For some reason, in 95% of the photos I'm in, I have my mouth open like this. Maybe I want to catch flies and eat them. Okay no. That would be foul. Once i sneezed and a fly went up my nose and that was traumatic.

Im wearing the same S&B shorts as in the last post. I love wearing demin shorts. I have three pairs that I just rotate over stockings for the winter. I used to be all about the skirts but now I'm all about the shorts. I like to wear a look to death , get sick of it, never do it again.

Whilst we were having breakfast we spotted a massive gecko on the tree. I ran over to take a photo and scared it away. Stupid. Yes I know. For some reason I thought it would be like a fridge magnet and not move.

Anyways, the next day I saw this one on the same tree. It was about half the size as the dinosaur from the day before :(

I took this photo from about 4 metres away so I wouldn't scare the lizard off again.

My favourite Sass&Bide item..

I love this Sass&Bide anorak. It's made from the softest material. I don't wear it too often because its so delicate I'm scared of ripping it! In true S&B style it has four ties so you can wear it differently. Sometimes I tie it up to wear it shorter and other times i let it all hang loose....
I must look off into the distance for a blogger photo...hHAHAHhahaha.

Lastly, I found this weird photo on my SD card. My bf took a photo of this. I have no idea what it is. It was on a palm tree. It looks like blueberries but I don't know how it was growing out of a palm tree! weird huh?

Taco night last night was fun but today I am paying for it. Ouch. On a happier note, I found a wine that I really like. Will have to look for it at Dan Murphys when I get back to Melbourne.

Finding crabs and squid.

The other day we went down to Point Samson.

We went pretty late in the day so the tide was really high. Which doesnt make for the prettiest photos...but it makes for fun " finding shit in the rocks" time.

Everytime I would find a cool crab that looked like Sebastian from the Little Mermaid, my bf was no where to be found with the camera.

I found some massive bright red crabs that walked sideways. It was hillarious.

I dunno if crabs really walk. Do they scuttle? I'm not sure. But one snapped at me.

So basically, instead of taking photos of cool red crabs he took photos of this sort of rubbish,

and no squid were found :( BOO

We did take lots of funny jump shots. I will post them one day.

Going through photos is exhausting. Especially when you have a bf who takes heaps of crappy photos and refuses to delete anything.

I have over 1000 photos to go through.

Oh yeah, and work to do. HA. Well today I have been good, its 4pm and I just started to blog.

I also got my eyebrows waxed up here and they did a good job. I am SO happy. I just feel fresh and clean with a good brow wax. Is that weird? I think not.

TONIGHT IS TACO NIGHT AND I AM EXCITED!!!!

Land of Red

Up here the skies are really blue and the ground is really red. It's actually quite pretty.

Especially at sunset when the sun really reflects on the red rocks.

I have to get up early and see if it has the same effect at sunrise.

I do love to snooze though....so it might not happen. hahaha!!

All of this in 30 degree heat....imagine in summer! thank god it's winter now. I'd die here in summer. Wearing that in 40 degree heat would be impossible.

ahhahaha. Taking photos over here is really hard because if you aren't taking them before noon its a real battle with the sun/shadows.

Taking photos has been really hard. It seems every angle has really strong shadow or glare and after about 2 minutes it's too hot and i have to give up trying.

On top of all of that, where the fudge can I get a decent soy decaf caramel macchiato around here? Any recs? Just kidding. A decent espresso would do. But even that is asking too much.....

I got this top just the other week. I love it. The frills around the neck are super cute but in this photo it looks like its a part of the top :(

I got this skirt a while ago. It's so cute. I love it with black opaques and black boots.

It sits highwaisted and has a bow around the waist. It is difficult to see in this pic.

Now that the Pound to AUD is so good it is too easy to go nuts at topshop. I seem to be ordering something new every week. I am really slow at taking photos though. I will be getting better as i get my DSLR I'm sure.

I got this jacket about 3 weeks ago. I looovee it. Even though it has been called a Michael Jackson jacket by a few people. The sequins keep falling off though :(

I have a voucher for Tiffany & Co and I'm really not sure what to get. I've narrowed it down to these four....hmmz.

I think I'm leaning towards the first one...I'll have to go and see them in store before I decide.

Bally shoes I think I need...

In this weeks Grazia ( with Cam Diaz on the cover) I saw these Bally shoes. I think I need them...I need to see them in real life atleast. But can i be bothered going all the way up Collins st in the freezing cold for them? I am THAT lazy. Maybe I can drive to shoppos and see if they are there. But I know ill get there and they'll say " oh only at the Collins st store" BAH

so many mags, so little time

As most of you know, I am always at the airport with my partners work. It is dangerous being near a newsagent and having time to kill. eeep.

I MAY have bought an embarrassing book as well but I am not talking about it until I have read it.

I could of easily bought more magazines but I had to stop somewhere....

I hope I can find new clothes to buy and a new dining table. I am over shopping and finding nothing!

s&b tees

I really love the new cut of Sass&Bide tees. they are so loose and flattering. The complete opposite to their old style which made me look fat as. bleugh.

I bought this bow tee a month or so ago and I love it! I wear it often. Just wish it wasn't as see through. I have to wear a white singlet underneath.

I bought this tee below on sale at David Jones. I liked it from day one but I didn't buy it for some reason....so when i saw it on sale I snapped it up!

Lastly, I bought this tee last year, but I wanted to share my Romance was Born scarf that I wrote about a few posts ago. I haven't worn it yet because it doesn't show the detail over a black top and I don't have anything long sleeve that isn't black!! I need to buy a new knit to show off this scarf! I really like it. It reminds me of Rodarte for some reason..maybe because it has that cobweb look about it. I got it from Alice Euphemia. The girl who served me was lovely.

Apologies for the dodgy photos. I have really dim lights in my place and I tend to take my photos at night when I'm bored. So...hmmz. I guess it's better than no photos right? maybe? hmm I dunno.

Lately I have been going Topshop crazy!!!!

I ordered this top a few months ago but forgot about it. I found it at the bottom of my closet and threw it on to see N.A.S.A at the Espy last week. Didn't really enjoy it. Bit too electro for me. Plus it's the Espy. I really hate the venue. Plastic cups aren't my thing. ughhhhh.
