Hermes Clickity Clack

I love Hermes for wrist wear
I like to collect Click Clacks and Click H's.
I got a new one the other day.
YAY!
I can't remember the name of the colour. I looked on TPF and found nothing. I asked the SA and he told me like 3 times the word in French so fast like I'm some sort of crazy robot I can understand.
Grrr.
I like to look it up and see what it means in English damnit.

YAY!
Behold the bangle. Wooo. I like this colour. It goes nicely with my new Chanel Elephant polish.
Wooo.
It's all nice a shiny with no scratches yet.
I love it.
:)

Here is my family of Hermes Bangles. I feel the silvers are ganging up on the gold and now I have to get another gold to even it out a bit.
I've got the most wear out of the gold one by far. You can see she has loads of scratches. It tells a story. (ha!)
Looking at this photo I now realise I should of cleaned them before I photographed them.

I think i will collect these throughout the years. I think my first one i got back in 2006. Seemed like it was yesterday.
The black and gold was from Singapore ( my first one)
The blue is from Tokyo
The "strawberry" is from Hawaii
and the black and silver and grey and silver are both from Melbourne.
MEMORIIIIESSSSSSSSSSS

I think i want to get a yellow one next. I dunno what the hell i would wear it with though.
hmmm

I haven't had a coffee today and I cannot concentrate. Coffee is sooo a drug. I don't care what anyone says!

Hope you all have a lovely Tuesday :)

Siglo Again Yawn.

You guys must be sick of me harping on about Siglo. I love it.
Anyway, we went to Siglo the other week because I told a friend of the best spring rolls in the world and he had to try them to see if it was true.
I am wearing a CR knit that has a sparkle through it but it doesn't show well in the photograph. It's a loose knit. I love it heaps. Will be wearing it lots when it cools down during the day.
I have the Chanel Elephante polish on too. Dry Manhattan in hand.
Doesn't D look spiffy?

I wore it with my CR jeans ( AGAIN!) and these cool studded booties from Christian Louboutin.
D took a photo of them on the stairs while we were waiting for our friends to arrive.
Someone walked past and nearly saw us. I shrieked in horror. Embarrassing to be caught taking a blog photo! HAhahahaha!

It's hard to see in the photos but the bottom part is leather and the top part is suede and the studs are very pointy spikes.

Here is the photo of the BEST SPRING ROLLS IN THE WORLD!!
YES!!!!
They are vegetarian but don't let that put you off meat eaters.
They are fabulous. Please everyone try before you dieeeeee.

I think Siglo also has the best dips and breads. I didn't try the taramasalata (sp?) because its fish but the cauliflower dip and tzatziki were to die for. They also do a mean hummus. Not on offer that day. Booo.
Anyway, don't let the messy presentation put you off. It's tasssssstyyy!! :)

Here i present the best tiramisu in Melbourne. If anyone has found a better one please let me know!!!
Yummmm. +2kg to my ass. YAY

Siglo is next to the Princess Theatre so you have this wall to look at. It makes me wonder what Melbourne was like back in YE OLD DAY.

Lovely views of Parliament House....and when its a bit lighter you can see a lovely church behind that too...

In this photo I show you the 2kg of fat that went on my ass from the evening of eating and boozing. HA. My humiliation is your enjoyment.
I dunno WHAT we were doing. The photos we took in the cab were even worse.
I didn't feel drunk at the time but one look at this photo below brings me back to reality.
aaaaaaahhahahahhahaa. sooo wrong.

I went shopping and got a few bits and pieces I'm excited to blog about this week.
Have to take a few photos.
The next 4-5 days is super busy but I am going to try and make some time for it.

Hope you all had lovely weekends!!

Happy Monday :)

Also I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who gave their opinions on charities! Nice to know that you guys are into giving as well :)

Shopping dayyyyyy

D took these photos of me after we got our morning coffee.
I hadn't had a sip yet. Cranky.
Ha!
I used to hate it when people told me they "need" their morning coffee.
I have kind of become one of them.
I'd rather run late than miss my coffee.
Anyway
I am wearing a top which has some ladys name on the label but im so sure i got it from Topshop. I have a bad memory. So its really 50/50 on its origins. I got it ages ago.
The vesty thing is from a brand called Kachel.
We all know the rest of my outfit because they are common characters on my blog now.

Close up because apparently people like seeing details.

Here is the back of the vest. How cool is it? ITS LIKE THE POPES HAT
I'm sure of it. Or something pope like. I dunno.
Aren't elbows weird? I really hate them. Just like i hate that weird bit of skin between your armpits.

Anyway, you know how I mentioned in my last post about some food festival thing in melbourne right now?
they have these tents set up near Chanel on that gravel bit and one of the tents has a wood fire oven.
YES U HEARD RIGHT! It was like the best pizza of my life.
I went back and got another the next day.
This one below was roasted fig, gorgonzola and walnuts.

Hells yes. Look at this up close so you can drool. Yum
Lucky for you ( AND ME!) i took their brochure and they have a restaurant.
YES WE CAN ALL ENJOY IT. The place is called Red Olive and its in Fitzroy and here is its website LINK.
I want to go and eat all the good italian goodness asap.
ASAP

After we ate the pizza I picked up some nice yellow roses for home.
They opened up huge!!!! huuuuuuuuuuugeeeeeeee!!!
Possible the biggest ive ever seen a rose open up.
Should of taken a pic. ahhhhhh.

I only got one thing that day. I forgot to mention but after Nobu we went to crown and i won some moolah. yessssss.
Anyways. I always feel guilty when i win money so i got D's little brother a present.
I got him this LV wallet that he has been harpin on about for years now ( in teenager time. in real time its months) I haven't given it to him yet. I just took the below photo.
Um. Its like impossible to take a photo of this wallet at night. The flash from the camera or even the light bulb in the ceiling reflects like crazy off the canvas.
Hell annoying.
Ughhh
Anyway its the Damier Graphite colour.
I like it. He will like it. I hope he gets excited.

Anyway, so I want to give away some of the money i won ( its not much but still ) to a charity so the universe is even. I feel something bad might happen if i dont give some of my winnings to charity. Its just my theory with winning money ok? hahaha
I cant decide who to give it to
Theres like a bajillion charities i like.
Its balls.
I dont know whether to just go Red Cross or to go more local like Father Bobs charity.
It's too difficult.
I think im heading towards local because its a smaller amount.
Sometimes i feel local smaller charities often get forgotten.

It's now officially Thursday. Which means its practically the weekend
YAY!
So excited.
Excited x 100000000000
I'm helping a friend move into her new place and I'm v excited for her. Hope it all works out.
I feel like EVERYONE bar me is underestimating the hugeness that is moving house.
Like they all forgot what HELL it was when they did it.
Ugh.
We have a nice little crew helping but it's still a mammoth job.

I'll stop rambling now
Goodnight/Goodmorning if you are reading this at a more civilized hour.
:)

Nobu Matsuhisa!

Last week D and I wanted to eat foods from Nobu at Crown.
So we went.

I wore this outfit below. It was an all black ensemble with gold around the shoulders to break it up. kind of.
Anyways, here is a photo of me hanging out in a carpark like its a normal thing to do.

This top excites me because i got it for cheap. $15 !! YES THAT IS RIGHT!
$15. I got it up in K town from Jeanswest.
Its some kind of silky feeling top but i think the material is viscose.
I like it though.
You can see the detail in the shoulder below and you can see the jewels i wore.
Hermes bangle and House of Harlow ring. And the Chanel Elephante polish.

Ok now that boring shiz is done with we can get to the GOOD STUFF.
FOOD PHOTOS. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
We drank sake. I choose the sake which in the menu is described as " aged listening to classical music for 10 years"
like hell that shiz is even true!! and if it is, i love it. It excites me and I must always drink it.
I feel relaxed by the sake because it listened to classical music.
I must investigate if its true or not.
On the right you can see the "new style vegetable sashimi" which is really just some tofu/tomato/asparagus dish with a bit of soy sauce type of deal and some spring onions.
its the bomb. sooo yum. SO YUM!

Next up there is a sizzling hot plate of vegetables and mushrooms. If you say you dont get excited by a sizzling hot plate at a restaurant then you are lying!! EVERYONE GETS EXCITED BY THEM! RIGHT? Well i do. I'm thinking I'm not alone on this one. Someone agree so i dont feel like a 5 yo.
My hairdresser told me she likes to eat enoki mushrooms because it makes her feel like she is eating noodles without the carbs. I thought this was funny and clever. I dont like them though because I cant chew them. My teeth dont work on enoki mushrooms.
On the right we have a salad dish. It's so yummy. I love lettuces.

On the left here we have a MISO EGGPLANT. Man this is the bomb. It's probs my favourite nobu dish. Or maybe its the tofu one. I dunno but this one is up there.
ZzzZzz I wish i could cook this. I imagine it has a bit of sugar in it.
I might of had 2 serves of this. Shoosh. ahhahah
On the right is some sushi. It had this interesting thing in it. I hope you can see it. It was kind of like a jalepino. But i think it was more like a pimento. Anyway. I loved it.
I dared D to scoff a massive lump of wasabi and he did and it was a stupid decision. He was in pain for a good 5 mins. AHAHAH funny for me though.

Anyway, little did we know, Nobu THE MAN HIMSELF was there for Melbourne Food Week or whatever its called and he was the head chef for the evening. He came and said hi to everyone in the restaurant. What a dude. I was suprised we could walk in and get a table without a booking. We must of been lucky. We did go quite late. Hmmm.

Drunken times then followed.
You can tell I was into it. Look at my messy hair. Hahahhahaaaaaa. Funny.
I pretending the cherries were nipples. I am classy. There was another photo with two lychees but i'm not even going to post that because it makes the nipples photo look ultra tame in comparison.
Ew.
Its hilarious though.

We got the dessert tasting plate and like an annoying bf D ate none so i had to eat it all and look like a fat pig. Thanks for the extra 3kg on my ass D.
HA.
I think i was kinda hoping he would eat it anyway. I loved it.
muahahah. so gross i ate the whole thing though? i need to walk it off tomorrow.
We did share a nice cognac though. We love cognac.
The weather is cooling down so cognac season will begin. YAY!

OOohhh This is my favourite of the desserts. The warm chocolate satandagi.
Its basically a donut with chocolate in the middle.
I took a photo of the chocolate oozing out just to share with you guys.
I hope you like it.
If you don't rate Japanese food or not into Nobu at least go for dessert one day to try this!
It comes with a raspberry sauce with pistachios in it.
ITS SOOOO GOOOOOD

Ughhhhhh
its 2.30 and it's probs not the best time to write a blog.
i'm sure ill wake up tomorrow and have to retype the whole thing cuz it made no sense.
I cant be bothered doing it now cuz i need to watch an episode of greys anatomy asap.
I am watching season 1 for the first time and i need to see what happens asap.

It's tuesday tomorrow and tuesdays excite me for some reason. not sure why!
hope you all have a lovely tuesday!!!
goooddd niighhht :)

Woodstock yo!

The other weekend D and I went to Woodstock party. We hadn't organised any costumes and had 2 hrs to pull something together. We went to a local salvos and found a vest for D and then went to savers and found nothing. apart from a snazzy wedding dress. YES I DID TAKE A PHOTO. hahahha. i sent it to Ds mum. Im not sure if she found it funny. I did. Oh well.
I just decided to upload it to share. hhaha. i love old wedding dresses
( next dress up party i am going as zombie bride FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!)

Anyway, then we went to Diva to look for peace sign necklaces and some sort of headband thing that would resemble 1969 woodstock.
I wanted to wear a daisy chain headband but where the hell do you find daisy flowers these days? I used to see them all the time as a kid but now i never see them..weird huh? NO? okay not weird.

Anyway, here is me with red eye. nice yeh? thanks camera for the red eye. great

Ds jeans are Tsubi ( back in from before Ksubi)
Top - I got this top from Cafe Del Mar in ibiza back in 2006.
Necklace - Diva
Scarf - My mums hand me down.

The party had NO woodstock music. I was pretty pissed off to say the least.
I felt it was like false advertising.
I was pretty pumped to hear some Creedence Clearwater Revival.
I love them a lot.

Anyway, here is my little pumpkin. You can tell she's like " Put me the eff down biatch"
hahaha. She is a snooty little thing sometimes. She needs to understand if she is being cute a photo is in order.
YAY i love her. She needs to go on a diet. Chubba Chihuahua isn't great.

Woot.
That is the end of my postttttttttt.
I have to now go do some EXCITING ironing.
Its just like normal ironing but I listen to music and try tell myself its exciting.
You guys should try it.
Some times I mix it up and listen to podcasts.
Usually the John Safran and Father Bob one.
Its good.
I like them.

Toodle-oo

London Court in Perth

D and I went for a shop around the city whilst we were staying in P town.
I think London court is so super cute. I love walking through there.
It was built in 1937 ! All the shops are pretty meh except for Pigeonhole.

The whole arcade should be filled with bavarian cake shops and antique shops. ( not currency exchange shops?!)

I wore this Sass&Bide dress that i got on sale a while ago but i think its still on sale. I think its 50% off.
I hope to wear it more in winter.

Anyway, Back to Pigeonhole.
I bought this cute ring on the left! The wings !
It was $35. I wanted to get the feather one on the left but i didn't want to get greedy!
I took these photos from their website (LINK ). They aren't mine.
They have a website shop ( LINK )! They have heaps of cute stuff. It's worth a look and if you live in Perth go visit if u like this kind of stuff. It's really cute.

Back in the main area is my favourite bronze statue.
I love this guy.
I pretended to kick his head for the photo. I didn't really kick it.
D said I was being violent.
Hahahha I thought it was funny.

Later we went back to the hotel and got changed for dinner.
I jumped on the bed and D photographed it.
WOOO.. It was fuuuuuuuuuuun !!

I love the material used in this dress and cardigan. D took a close up so I could show you guys.
It has this cool leather/wet look effect. I love it.
The dress was from FAT and the brand is An Ode to No One.
The cardigan is from Review.
The necklace is a gift my mum just gave me to remember our engagement in Paris!
YAY. Thanks mum :)

We went to Bar 1 for dinner/drinks. The portion sizes were quite big. Those fries are ONE serve of side fries!
HUGE
The food was all nice but the olives in the martini were not.
Bad olives in martinis really upset me. I look forward to the olive at the end.

I hope Perth readers get a chance to check this place out ! It is nice.
I suspect it gets a creepy pick up joint vibe on Fridays after work so avoid that time.

I think it's about time Perth got a Chanel and an Hermes.
I think it would do well there.
Let's rally together!
Start a petition maybe?
I would sign.

I went to Hermes today. There was nothing in store that i liked but i ordered a little something in so we'll see what happens there.
I want a bag though. Maybe I need to go overseas. Maybe I need to slap myself in the face and save my money.
Yes. That is what I will do.

The Burrup

It's nice to drive down to the Burrup Peninsula to look at the water, rocks, and kangaroos.
Kangaroos be crazy. They always jump in front of the car. crazy.
I love to take photos of kangaroos but D always gets impatient.
I took some nice photos of kangaroos and posted about them a while ago in THIS post.

We like to look around in the rocks to find crabs and other weird things.
I like how there is no sand here.
It's just all small shells....millionsssss of them!

I stood on this rock while D took a photo.
I wore my usual CR jeans. I promise i do take them off.
And Sass&Bide tshirt. Easy outfit.
I like the white things flapping off the tshirt. I dunno what you would call them.

At dusk the sun shines on the rocks and they have this crazy red glow.
It's much more vibrant in real life......beautiful!
Australia is such a beautiful place.

Took a photo of a kangaroo. YAY

And then the sunset!
I love taking photos of skies and clouds. How boring am I?! hahah

How was everyones weekends?
Mine was great. D and I went to a Woodstock party. I will post some photos when I get around to it. We also ate lots and lots of nice food and had way too many drinks with friends.
Thats what weekends are for right?

I saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D today. It was alright. I thought it would be better though. I found it kind of slow. The script was lacking and at some parts kind of boring.
I thought i'd love this movie so much. Hmmm...
Visually it was beautiful though....
I love Anne Hathaway but I found her to be terrible in this film. Is it just me?
I feel bad for saying that but i dunno. What did you guys think?

Pilbara chillin

The best time for exploring in the Pilbara is between 6pm and 7pm when the sun is going down.
It's gnarly sunny and you squint your eyes like blind woman but the sunset is pretty so it's worth it.
The nice breeze from the ocean is a life saver.
White t-shirts help but I usually wear all black so my clothes dont get covered in red dust.

This is my favourite Sass&Bide tshirt. I love the green in it. It goes nicely with gold and silver. Which I think is rare in colours.
It also reminds me of reptiles. Then I sing reptile by NIN in my head for a while.
Why hello there squinty,
You can see the detail in the tshirt atleast.
Can you see how my nails match my sunnies? That was not on purpose. I'm glad it happened though. I will call it my "pop" of colour. hahaha.

Sunnies - Ray Bans ( gift from a dear friend)
Tshirt - Sass&Bide
Jeans - Country Road
Cuff - Hermes
Bracelets - Tiffany balls bracelet & Hermes Click H in framboise
Nails - OPI Red My Fortune Cookie

Okay now I will tell you the story of Sam's Island. In the photo above, you can see his island.
Apparantly a man named Sam lived there like a hermit.
The council kicked him off the island. Everyone rallied in the community to let Sam stay there and live on his island in his shanty shack.
They council let him back on the island
He died happy on his island
It is now named Sams Island.
I hope this story is true and not an urban legend!! Hahah Like old " red dog" . I dunno if i believe in that story. Maybe PilbaraFace can enlighten us if the Sam's Island story is true.

Now below is my favourite tree in the Pilbara.
It is asking to be sat on.
I tried to sit on it and fell off.
HAHAH
You can see the action below.

But then success !!!
Huzzah!
I climbed to the top.
This is major for me.
I hate heights. I know this doesn't look high but I still got dizzy when I got to the top and stood up.

I am going to see The Blind Side tonight.
I am excited to see Sandra Bullock with Texas hair. Woo.
I saw Precious the other day. Did I already mention this on my blog?
I liked it a lot. Mimoo was great in it. I didn't like the ending though.
I want to see Hurt Locker and Alice in Wonderland.
So many movies to see!!

I hope you guys all have the best weekend! Make it a productive one.
I will try.
I want to unpack finally and get up to date with cleaning.
I have a date with the disinfectant, toothbrush and shower.
WOO.
I will manage to try new cocktails this weekend too.
YAY
sldkflsdkjflskdfj
I am going to go listen to Celebration by Kool & The Gang to get excited for the weekend.
You should too! How can you not be happy whilst listening to this song?
Celllllebrrattioonnn! I might even dance in the living room.

I hope you all liked my Pilbara photos. I love it there and I'm glad I can share a few bits of it with you guys :)

Have a great weekend :) :)
